The mission of Mt. Calvary’s Men’s Ministry is to unite Christian men in a bond of brotherly love and to encourage and support individual aspirations to grow closer to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ; to aide men in realizing God’s ordained purpose for them and to provide a platform that promotes the spiritual, social, intellectual and moral welfare of all ministry members.

All ministry efforts are to be aligned in accordance with the mission and vision of both the African Methodist Episcopal Church and Mt. Calvary AME Church under the leadership of Rev. Dr. Ann Lightner-Fuller, Pastor and Rev. Dr. Stanley Fuller, Chief Men’s Ministry Counselor.

Objective 1:  To establish and sustain an organization aimed at the spiritual development of men who seek a closer relationship with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and to enable men to become knowledgeable in the word of God and how it can be applied to a man’s life.

·         FMO Spiritual Rejuvenation Retreats/Shut-in’s

Objective 2:     To provide ministry members with the opportunity to bond with other likeminded individuals in ways that will yield  
stronger spiritual and social relationships with both the Lord our God, ministry members and also young male mentees.

Pertinent events/actions: 

·         Regularly scheduled social actions events (FMO services, outreach events and socials)

·         Prayer partner interaction/dialogue    

·         Maximum participation by all members

·         Effective communication between members

·         Mentoring Young Men of the Sons of Thunder ministry

·         Group attendance at various sporting events

·         Mighty Men’s Ministry Bowling Team/League

·         Mighty Men’s Golfers for Christ Golf Group

·         Fishing Fellowship
